Seminar Recap – Grass Valley
Ron Williams of Grass Valley, a Belden Brand, held a successful presentation hosted by Advanced Broadcast Solutions March 22nd, speaking to a veteran group of video operators on advanced camera techniques. Grass Valley offers HD/4K/HDR & high frame rate cameras for the most demanding live environments. It was third time that ABS hosted for one of our partners, and provided a great opportunity for the manufacturers and integrators to strengthen their links with the end users in the Pacific Northwest region.
Mike O’Brien, a 15-year independent technician for local professional sports, states, “I really enjoyed the class. I took away quite a lot of useful information. More of these types of classes would be wonderful.” The information provided helped attendees with a much greater knowledge of the nuances and skills to get the most out of a camera system.
This event offered a deep dive into General LDX camera head orientation of controls, XCU – Exchangeable Camera Unit functions, OCP – Operational Control Panel, Camera Startup to Final Settings, Elements of a Good Picture, Video Monitor Elements, and Adjustable Video Controls from OCP:
