About VariCam

Panasonic Cinema has recently developed a new tool for Live Events, concerts and broadcast called CineLive. Taking our VariCam LT 4K Cinema camera and adding our existing broadcast tools, enables Live or Live-to-Tape productions to attain a Cinematic look and feel. The VariCam LT’s low light performance and colorimetry is a market leader, coupled with DTS 4K or Multidyne 1080 Fiber Optic and the HRP control systems, enabling remote control of the cameras and performing functions such as remote iris, full painting, and shading. Combining all of these amazing functions in the camera, as well as B4, PL, PV of EF lens mount options, make CineLive the perfect option for Live Events!

About Laurence

Laurence Nunn is the Cinema Business Development Manager for Panasonic Cinema. His primary focus is to work directly with industry organizations, studios and camera rental houses to provide training and understanding of the VariCam Cinema product line. He also works closely with Directors of Photography to help them achieve their goal of beautiful cinematic images.
Laurence has been in the film industry for almost 30 years, working in both London and Los Angeles. Prior to joining Panasonic, Laurence was at Panavision in Los Angeles. His time there enabled him to get a very broad look at all facets of the film industry from Cinema to Broadcast, film to digital and encompassed many roles; most recently in technical marketing, where he worked with Camera Assistants and Directors of Photography to aid with questions and technical assistance.
