With more than 30 years in the business, Mark is known for his innovative approach to delivering broadcast and professional video and audio technology solutions to clients in a variety of markets. While attending USC, he started his career as a production manager and editor for Corporate Productions, Inc., moving to the ABC Network in Los Angeles after graduation. His focus shifted to broadcast sales and marketing, first with Shoreline LTD in Los Angeles, then with Ampex, Dynatech, and BTS/Philips. Prior to ABS, Mark was a partner and vice president of business development at Digital System Technology, where he was at the forefront of many of the company’s high-profile projects.

Whether designing a highly complex broadcasting center, multi-hop microwave transmission system, or installing a single digital disk recorder; Kenneth’s broad and extensive technical background compliments his business acumen in providing solutions that guarantee a greater Return-On-Investment.His previous eighteen plus years of broadcast engineering is comprised of five years in systems integration, seven years in sports broadcasting, six years in live event engineering, and has acquired and maintained three college degrees, two SBE certifications, ten plus years as the northwest manager for the Society of Motion Pictures and Television Engineers, sixteen year member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers, a freshly minted FAA private pilot, and an amateur radio operator to boot.In his most recent tenure as the Director of Broadcast Engineering for Advanced Broadcast Solutions (ABS) he has designed and implemented three multi-station centralization projects, seven master control room rebuilds, thirteen production control rooms, and various long-haul, satellite, ip distribution, post-production, sports, and media facilities.Prior to his tenure with ABS, his primary responsibilities included implementing HDTV QAM256 distribution networks, DWMD fiber transport infrastructures, COFDM wireless systems, mixed media asset play out systems, and live event production facilities at Safeco Field in Seattle, WA. His background in implementing cutting edge high-definition equipment was reinforced by his close relationships with NHK America, FSNW, MIRA Mobile, ESPN, NMT, and various other broadcasting organizations. These relationships fostered a greater in-depth technical expertise in functional system design for live event facilities and mobile applications.Prior to his tenure with the Seattle Mariners and Safeco Field his responsibilities included design build of Emerald Downs a National Thoroughbred Racing Association facility in Auburn, WA. This small but highly complex satellite distribution, pre and post-production facility enforced our beliefs that his project management ability, attention to detail, and the knowledge to acquire, design, and test critical system components throughout the system commissioning process was well suited to our corporate core values. His willingness to adapt and assist our client in meeting their aggressive sometimes impossible deployment schedules has been observed time and time again.His wide breath of expertise in television broadcasting was developed and molded early in his career at the Kingdome in Seattle, WA. This multi-use facility hosted events ranging from NCAA basketball and AMTA Monster Trucks to MLB and NFL post-season madness. His responsibility included transitioning a standard definition NTSC analog facility to a combination serial digital / parallel digital facility, but also was responsible for the installation and maintenance of the Large Screen Video Displays and scoreboard technologies.His background in Computer Science has provided a unique insight into the future convergence between the broadcasting and multimedia markets. As a beta-tester for Adobe Systems, Daktronics, and a contributor to the Open Source community, his in-depth knowledge of computer software, hardware, and networking infrastructures is extensive. His breath of knowledge and technical knowhow provides our clients with a technical resource that extends our reach into the broadcasting community solving their complex system design requirements.
Chief Operating Officer
Jeff joined ABS in 2013 as COO, following a 30-year career with Intel Corporation, most recently as an operations manager. Key accomplishments included establishing consistent business processes and operational metrics across Intel’s manufacturing and finance organizations. At ABS, he is responsible for business operations and program management, and is streamlining company policies and procedures in support of sales personnel. Overall he is responsible for setting the strategy, driving execution, and creating best practices for the ABS organization, which enable the team to support internal and external customers. Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in management.
